Here we have another melody that is infatuated with a single statement of God's Truth.
Personally, I love those beautiful melodies that grab on to one of God's Truths and refuses to let go.
I am finding more and more of them and I can spend the day with any one of them.
This particular one is long over due.
But then I admit to being a slow learner.
This truth should permeate our being both night and day.
For to add even one hour...to our day...
THERE IS NO OTHER WAY...
These words were penned by the only all human man,
Of whom God said was the wisest man who ever lived.
When we casually look at some of the things King Solomon did, it becomes obvious that he must have had many days with more than the usual 24 hours...
And this is the way he did it...
THERE IS NO OTHER WAY...
And when we realize that in Christ Jesus,
Who is God our Creator...
That in him are hid ALL of the treasures...
of wisdom and knowledge...
Absolutely nothing makes as much sense as...
SPENDING QUALITY TIME ALONE WITH HIM...
EVERY SINGLE DAY OF OUR LIVES...
October 31,2008. I had never thought about
how GOD could actually add hours to each day,
but just recently HE showed me exactly how HE
does it.
Reverence For GOD Adds Hours To Each Day
I recently experienced the fulfillment of this
beautiful timesaving promise.
Mary Alice Hawker King, my precious wife of 63 years
went home to be with JESUS October 11, 2008 and we
had not been active in a local church for several years
and I felt a need to associate with a fellowship of believers
who know and love JESUS and so I was thinking about
checking out a near by Nazarene Church and then I
remembered that there was a small church even closer
and also a Baptist Church not far away and as I was
thinking about visiting all three and then deciding I was
made to realize that GOD already knows where HE
wants me to me so as I am thinking about that I decided
to visit the small church which was closest to my
home and I felt that I would not be at all surprised if this
turned out to be where GOD wanted me to be.
The next morning I went to the church which happened
to be ElK Plain Community Church and spent about
an hour with Len Phillips the pastor and within 15 or 20
minutes I fell very strongly that this was to be my new
church home.
Yes, Reverence for GOD adds hours to each day.
I must do this more often...WOW..HE keeps every promise!
Every time!
And after all HE does promise very specifically, "I will instruct you and teach you in THE WAY you should go, I will
guide you with my eye and if you will acknowledge ME in ALL your ways, I will direct your paths"
If we will only believe HIM to fulfill HIS promises to instruct and teach us in the way we should go, to direct our
paths, then we can save all of that wasted time and energy we normally spend spinning our wheels attempting to get to our desired destination, by just depending on HIM to keep HIS WORD and to lead us directly to HIS desired end for us.
How simple, how very simple, as another one of my songs says, Life Is Simple, when we're tuned in and plugged in to the wisdom of GOD.
And while we are on the subject:
Here is another powerful statement...

"Trust and reverence the Lord...
Turn your back on evil...
When you do that...
Trust and Reverence the Lord...

You will be given...
RENEWED HEALTH AND VITALITY..."
Anyone for RENEWED HEALTH AND VITALITY?
How about that?
Not only RENEWED HEALTH AND VITALITY...
But added HOURS each day...in which to enjoy...
our RENEWED HEALTH AND VITALITY...
And all we have to do is...
TRUST AND REVERENCE THE LORD...
AND TURN OUR BACKS ON EVIL...
Too good to turn down? ABSOLUTELY!

Steps to Un-Stuff Your Schedule
and Increase Your Margin

Do you ever get to the end of your day
and think, "Did I accomplish anything?"
Where does all the time go?
If you don't master your schedule,
it will master you!
Here are three suggestions from the Bible for reducing the
stress of your schedule and increasing the margin:
1. Line up your priorities. Obviously, you don't have time
to do everything, so you must make choices. You must
decide what's really important and what isn't. Take some
time to consider the direction of your life. The Bible says,
"An intelligent person aims at wise action, but a fool starts
off in many directions" (Proverbs 17:24 GNT); "It is stupid
to waste time on useless projects" (Proverbs 12:11, GNT);
"We should make plans—counting on God to direct
us" (Proverbs 16:9 LB).
2. Lighten up your attitude. Do you really have to do
everything on your to-do list? No one is holding a gun to
your head; a lot of your stress is self-imposed. The Bible
says, "Worry weighs us down..." (Proverbs 12:25 MSG); "A
relaxed attitude lengthens a man's life" (Proverbs 14:30
LB); "Being cheerful keeps you healthy. It is slow death to
be gloomy all the time" (Proverbs 17:22 GNT).
3. Look up to God. Stress is always a warning light that
you've taken your focus off God and are looking at your
problems from your limited viewpoint.
I believe the single greatest cause of stress is this:
We take ourselves too seriously
and we don't take God seriously enough!
ABSOLUTELY...ABSOLUTELY...My comments!

And from there you can purchase his twelve cassette rendition of "James Earl Jones reads the Bible The New Testament"
His reading of the Scripture is against a background of beautiful Gospel Music...the old traditional hymns...
And even Ed King's beautiful Original Gospel Music must bow in deference to those beautiful hymns of old.
My personal suggestion is to put on the headset and listen to at least one half of a cassette every single day.
And if you would like an experience with Jesus that you will never forget...make it a point to listen to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John...THREE TIMES...
IN 30 DAYS...
I can promise you that once you do this...you will do it again...
Here is an interesting side note: I never heard of James Earl Jones until my son gave me this cassette set for Christmas...
But then I have not been a movie buff for more years that I can count...
But I am so thankful for this great reading of the New Testament as reading is becoming more and more difficult for me as the eyes in this old house are winding down.
But thanks to the PROMISE which you will find on the page with my song, "WHEN YOU KNOW JESUS"
I am rejoicing all the way to the bank...
