18~God Will Forgive You~If Only You Ask

You will recognize some of the words here
from the PROMISE recorded in Ezekiel 16:59-63
Remember Jesus is the one who when asked,
"How many times should I forgive someone who needs forgiveness? Seven times?"
Jesus responded with, "No, not seven, but seventy times seven!"

What better place to turn our attention to:
"God's Renewal Plan For Us"
For US...For ME...For WHOSOEVERWILL...
God's renewal plan for us is found in several places in Scripture but for now we will look at Ezekiel chapter 36:
The Lord God says, "I am bringing you back again,
but not because you deserve it;
I am doing it to protect My Holy Name
which you tarnished among the nations.
I will honor My Great Name that you defiled,
And the people of the world shall know I am the Lord.
I will be honored before their eyes
by delivering you from sin among them.
For I will bring you back home again.
Then it will be as though
I had sprinkled clean water on you,
For you will be clean...
Your fithiness will be washed away,
Your idol worship gone.
And I will give you a new heart,
I will give you new and right desires,
And put a new spirit within you.
I will take out your stony heart of sin,
And give you a new heart of love.
And I will put MY SPIRIT within you.
So that you will obey MY laws and do whatever I command.
Then you will remember your past sins,
And loathe yourself for all the evils you did.
But always remember this:
It is not for your own sake that I will do this,
but for MINE
O MY people,
Be utterly ashamed for all you have done.
Then the nations all around will know
that I the Lord rebuilt the ruins.
And planted lush crops in the wilderness.
For I the Lord have PROMISED it and I will do it.
The Lord God says,
I am ready to hear you pray for these blessings.
And I am ready to grant you your request...
WHEN YOU PRAY FOR THESE BLESSINGS.
Just ASK and I will multiply you
like the flocks that fill Jerusalem's streets
at time of sacrifice.
Your ruined city will be crowded once more,
And everyone will know I am the Lord."

God is not a rapist.
God will never force HIS attention on us:
God lays out the deepest desire of HIS heart
concerning us...
Which is to share HIS utmost intimacy with us...
And then HE says,
"If you want this relationship to be...
Then you are going to have to ask ME for it...
As I will never force my affections on you...
Never in all of eternity.
There is nothing that I want more
than for you and ME to be ONE...
But you are going to have to want it and ask for it...
Or it will never happen...
ARE YOU LISTENING? ARE YOU HEARING WHAT I AM SAYING?

And one other thing most worthy of note:
When we humans think of intimate relationships...
We seem to just naturally think of sexual relationships...
So allow me to share something else with you...
Once you begin to understand what your little finger represents...as mentioned by Paul in Ephesians 3:20
You will know that an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ is millions of dimensions removed from a mere human intimate relationship.
And something else that many people seem to be oblivious to and that is...
That there are no hunan relationships in heaven...
and certainly no human intimate relationships in heaven...mainly because there are no humans in heaven.
I continue to hear nice sincere but Biblically uninformed/misinformed people speak of continuing a human relationship with departed loved ones...
spouses in particular.
Read your Bible...It just won't happen that way.
I don't understand...when Jesus makes it so CLEAR
in the Scripture. Just one example is where the religious tricksters took their turn at trying to trick Jesus when they told HIM about a woman, whom they said...had been the wife of seven brothers and asked Jesus just who's wife she would be in heaven and Jesus told them very plainly...
at least it is very plain to me...that in heaven
EX-HUMANS NEITHER MARRY NOR ARE GIVEN IN MARRIAGE...
IN FACT, JESUS WENT ON TO SAY
THAT EX-HUMANS ARE AS THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN...
Here on earth we have honeymoons with our earthly human spouse and of course, some people have multiple honeymoons with multiple spouses...
But in heaven there will be only one honeymoon...an eternal honeymoon and with only one groom Jesus Christ...
Through out eternity.
"JUST ME AND JESUS"
And for my spouse it will be the same for her...
"JUST ME AND JESUS"
And if you and your spouse both go to heaven,
it will be the same for each of you...
"JUST ME AND JESUS"
I am not the least bit surprised
if you are having a little trouble grasping this concept...
Because when I first received this revelation...
it really threw me for a loop.
The Lord allowed me to stew in it for a couple of days...
and then HE took me aside and gave me an earth example to explain it to me and then I had no trouble
seeing it CLEARLY.
HE said to me, "Ed, when you get alone with ME
to fellowship...pray and study My Word...
Does that mean that everybody else
has to stand outside and "WAIT"
until you and I get through?
OF COURSE NOT!
I am big enough, HE went on to say...I really am...
I really am big enough to spend private time
with every believer in the whole wide world
every moment of all time both now and all of eternity."
O.K. I get the message...AND I HOPE YOU DO TOO!
True, The Bible says that we will know as we are known...
but, don't read that and then jump to the wrong conclusion.
And lest we forget: God reminds us that no man knows anything yet as he ought to know it and that certainly
does include me.

JUST REMEMBER WHAT YOUR LITTLE FINGER REPRESENTS...
AND YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A QUESTION THAT WILL STUMP YOU...
