11~ Father, Forgive Them

I don't know about you, but I find it real exciting when I find that even in my dreams I am still in the presence of Jesus.
Just this morning I woke up with tears in my eyes as I had just had quite an experience in my dreams.
It seems that there had been a problem with someone...
and I came home to find that a couple of my buildings had been burnt down and in my dream it was so very real as my dreams usually are and my first impulse was to get back at whoever it was and in my dream I was sure that I knew who had done this terrible thing to me...
And then it hit me..."Father Forgive Them...for they know not what they do"
When I realized in my dream that my relationship with Jesus was far more important to me than any thing else...
the tears began to flow like a river...
and that's when I woke up...
I don't know about you...but for me that is always exciting!

That reminds me...
Every now and then someone will mention to me that someone stole something from them...
and I always respond with...
"Do you know what Jesus had to say about that?" and usually they don't and I respond with,
"Jesus said that when someone asks us for something...
give it to them...AND...if someone takes something of ours without asking...like in steal...DON'T WORRY ABOUT GETTING IT BACK"
That's interesting...Isn't Jesus the one who said...
"DON'T WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING"?
He sure is consistent isn't He?
This attitude that Jesus is telling us to exhibit is so out of tune with the way we normally react when someone steals something of ours...ISN'T IT?
Of course it is...but then Jesus is fully aware of something that we fail to realize and that is this:
Whatever it was that was stolen from us...
Where did it come from? Where did we get it?
Oh? We bought it! We earned it! Is that right?
Well this is what Jesus has to say about it:
Jesus tells us plainly,
"No man can have anything UNLESS
GOD GIVES IT TO HIM! How about that!
And what Jesus knows and we should know if we have been paying any attention to what he has been telling us in the Scripture is:
There's plenty more where that came from AND one other thing...there's even better where that came from...
Isn't that right? Of course it is...
So the next time somebody rips us off...and somebody probably will...sooner or later...
Let's be sure we remember what Jesus has to say about it and let us act accordingly...
And what was that?
Oh Yes, "Father Forgive them for they know not what they do."
When we really stop and seriously think about it...
There is no time like being ripped off time for revealing the object of our worship...is it Jesus or is it some thing...some stuff...against the backdrop of eternity...some junk...
Doing business on the Internet as I have been doing for the past few years I have been ripped off more times that I care to think about but I can assure you that the pain is practically none existent as I keep my focus on Jesus and His Word rather than the injustice I have received. I am currently working with four different businesses on the Internet and they all look real good and dependable at this point yet my focus and trust remains in Jesus and His Word.
This same Jesus reminds us very vividly that we can not divide our worship...

The above mentioned four different internet businesses that looked to have real promise all died untimely and unexpected
deaths and so my final conclusion is this: Instead of looking to my business expertise to supply funds for supporting legitimate Ministries and feeding programs I am going to depend only on GOD to supply me with those funds and so for the rest of my days I intend to keep my attention and energies focused on GOD and HIS WORD as I hearken diligently to HIS VOICE, Praying, "O GOD, help me to understand and know YOU in the way that YOU want me to UNDERSTAND AND KNOW YOU"
